ScienceFX — Third-Party Notices =============================== Product: ScienceFX v1.0 (Windows) Publisher: Analemma Labs Components: ScienceFX.aex (main effect) + ScienceFXAudioCompanion.aex (AEGP companion) This document lists the third-party trademarks, attribution notices and dependency status relating to ScienceFX v1.0. It is compiled on the basis of an audit of the source-code dependencies and build configuration of the effect and the companion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Third-party trademarks ------------------------- Adobe® / After Effects® Adobe and After Effects are registered trademarks of Adobe Inc. ScienceFX is a third-party plug-in independently developed by Analemma Labs using the Adobe After Effects SDK. Use of the Adobe After Effects SDK is solely for the technical purposes of plug-in development. ScienceFX is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or produced by Adobe Inc. Microsoft® / Windows® Windows is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation. ScienceFX is compiled for Windows with Microsoft tools. Any system or runtime components required for execution are provided by the operating system or the user's environment (including the Adobe After Effects host) and are not separately redistributed in the ScienceFX package. ScienceFX is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Independent product ---------------------- ScienceFX is an independent product of Analemma Labs. References to third-party products, trademarks, hosts or technologies (for example Adobe After Effects or Windows) are purely descriptive of technical compatibility and interoperability, and do not imply any affiliation, partnership, endorsement or sponsorship by the respective owners. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Scientific and mathematical references ----------------------------------------- The names of theories, concepts, attractors, transformations, patterns or mathematical and scientific structures used in ScienceFX (for example chaotic attractors, fractals, conformal transformations, resonance patterns, topological constructs, wave mechanics) are used as descriptive and technical references to identify the visual models and algorithms implemented in the Software. These names: - imply no endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship by any person, entity, institution, foundation, university or associated trademark holder; - do not constitute a claim of physical accuracy; - do not make ScienceFX a scientifically rigorous simulation. ScienceFX uses scientific and mathematical concepts as a visual and procedural engine, not as a scientific simulation tool. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Third-party libraries included in the package ------------------------------------------------ The build audit of the effect (ScienceFX.aex) and the companion (ScienceFXAudioCompanion.aex) found that the Software is compiled from Analemma Labs' sources, from the headers and utility files of the Adobe After Effects SDK and from the C/C++ standard library, linking only the Windows system libraries (user32, gdi32). No third-party runtime library is separately included in the standard package, except for components already provided by the host (Adobe After Effects) or by the operating system. In particular, the standard release package contains exclusively: - the two plug-ins ScienceFX.aex and ScienceFXAudioCompanion.aex; - the documentation; - the EULA; - these notices (Third-Party Notices); - the changelog. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Open-source dependencies --------------------------- No redistributed open-source dependency was identified in this audit. The Software does not incorporate or redistribute third-party open-source libraries as separate components. Any Adobe After Effects SDK utility files compiled into the Software (e.g. helpers for managing the AEGP suites) are part of the Adobe SDK and are subject to the license terms of the Adobe After Effects SDK. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 6. Media materials, presets and demo projects --------------------------------------------- The standard package of ScienceFX v1.0 does not include third-party presets, demo projects, images, audio or video. No attributions or licenses are therefore required for third-party media assets in the standard package. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. Future updates to this document ---------------------------------- This document reflects the dependency status of ScienceFX v1.0 at the time of release. Should future versions or packages include media assets, libraries, open-source components or other third-party materials, this document must be updated with the component name, version, copyright holder, license type and required attribution text, before the relevant distribution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ScienceFX — Third-Party Notices — ScienceFX v1.0 (Windows), Analemma Labs.
