1. What are Cookies and Local Storage
Cookies are small text files that visited websites send to the user's terminal. Local Storage is a similar technology that allows data to be saved directly in the browser to ensure a smooth and personalized browsing experience.
2. Usage on our website
Analemma Labs adopts a minimalist and privacy-oriented approach. Currently, we do not use profiling or third-party tracking cookies. The architecture of the site does not record your behaviors for advertising purposes.
3. Strictly Necessary Technical Cookies and Technologies
We only use essential technical technologies for the user interface. Specifically, we use the browser's localStorage for the following purpose:
- analemma_theme: Stores the user's visual preference (Dark Mode or Light Mode) to maintain consistency across pages and during subsequent visits. It does not contain personal data.
- analemma_consent_v1: Stores the cookie-preference record needed to remember and respect the user's choices. Optional analytics and marketing values default to disabled.
Technical security and hosting cookies
The site is served through Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary technical cookies or identifiers for security, bot protection, service availability and, when enabled, Cloudflare Access authentication. Analemma Labs does not use these tools for profiling, advertising or analytics, and they do not require prior consent because they are necessary to provide the service securely.
SIDERA 4D experience
The SIDERA 4D experience available under /sidera/ uses browser-local storage for functional preferences such as language and display settings. Place search contacts Nominatim/OpenStreetMap only when used; technical libraries may be loaded from jsDelivr; and Ko-fi and PayPal are external links with no embedded payment widgets. 4. Preference Management
Since the technologies currently employed are classified as technical and non-profiling, European regulations do not require prior consent for their use. You can review or change your choices at any time via the ‘Cookie preferences’ link in the site footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and takes effect immediately. You can also remove local data through your browser's site-data controls.
5. Future Optional Technologies
Analemma Labs does not currently use analytics, advertising or profiling technologies. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated and the first-visit consent banner will be activated before any such technology loads; optional categories will default to denied.
